PLAYER

CONTACT: PM; [plurk.com profile] balsamandash

ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: Central Time; irregular hours. I have several health issues, and some days I can't tag at all. If I haven't tagged back in a while and you want to make sure I got the tag or am still planning to return it, feel free to poke me.

STYLE: No preference between brackets or prose; prefer present tense, but will match past. I sometimes have trouble keeping up with text threads for long unless they switch to in-person.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: No gore in picture prompts, no graphic descriptions of gore in tags; no eye trauma; no insects.

OUT OF CHARACTER

BACKTAGS/SLOWTIME: (there is no "too old")
ASSUMED CR: (pms are open for discussion)
MULTIPLE THREADS:
FAKE GAME SETTING/UNIVERSE CLASHES:

DEFAULT SETTING: Modern time period; medium-to-large American city, Chicago by default, but anywhere big enough for her to blend in a little works. Supernatural world with a masquerade in place.

IN CHARACTER

VISUAL: PB reference; wing reference

PHYSICAL AFFECTION:
She's not really accustomed to it and she'll get a little nervous about it coming from strangers, but she could use probably use a good few hugs if you can convince her you're a safe person.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE:
Lucy will try to avoid it to the best of her ability; however, she has a good amount of training in both hand-to-hand and weapons, and is willing to fight if she has to. She's killed before but would rather not unless she has to. She is stronger and faster than humans, particularly when her wings are out, but not so much that she can't be overpowered.

MINDREADING/PSYCHIC ABILITIES:
No blocks, no psychic abilities herself or ways to know people are in her head. She's a little jittery, and someone in her head might notice both how young she is and how nervous she is. Has a deep and broad knowledge base of demons and generally latches on to new information eagerly, but especially when it comes to that subject.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Angels are stronger and faster than humans, and have a lower body temperature as well as the expected wings, though those can be hidden. Lucy has been homeless for a number of years now, and it's taken some toll on her -- most notably, she's definitely underfed. She's also had a broken wrist and a few infections she hasn't seen doctors for that may have left some issues behind.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Lucy ran away from a family that wanted to use her as a secret-weapon-slash-spy to hunt down demons, who are also sentient creatures that are not necessarily inherently evil. She's been homeless since the age of 17 and has had close calls when it comes to being hurt by people in that time as well, as well as some less-than-healthy sexual relationships.

RELATIONSHIPS

PLATONIC:
Lucy needs friends badly, as she's basically never had them. She'll be a little bit wary around most people (and especially any angels), and a little awkward in general, but she's not completely closed off and will be receptive to friendliness.

NEGATIVE:
Lucy is extremely wary about other angels because of her family and defensive of demons because of her Calling, in a way that could easily piss off others, especially if she turns up in a world with more stereotypical always-evil demons. She's also inclined towards demons despite the fact that there is a good portion of them that instinctively hate angels, and that's gotten her in trouble before. And she's a homeless, lonely barely-adult who could easily be manipulated by someone's false friendliness, if anyone wants to go that route.

SHIPPING:
All genders welcome, but may take some build-up for anything romantic. Lucy's experience with relationships is not very healthy; she didn't have time for any before running away, and she's never really dated. Since then most of her very brief experiences have been colored by the fact that if she agrees she might get a roof over her head for a night or even some food, making her inclined to say yes to people she's not really that interested in. She's not against the idea of relationships and some small romantic part of her wants badly to be swept off her feet, it's just something she hasn't had any chance to experience.

IDEAS AND WANTS

↦ Interacting with other supernatural things that aren't angels/demons, or angels/demons from very different types of worlds

↦ Someone taking her in to help her get herself together. I'm good with this in some universe-mash of her original word, or post-falling into another world; I'm also good with purely happy setups, awkward/difficult but genuinely helpful setups, being manipulated, etc.

↦ Someone taking advantage of her messed-up sense of trust -- either to befriend her in order to use her as bait/a weapon again once her guard is down, or to take advantage of her instinctive desire to trust people who want to kill her, or even just to use her lack of trust in herself to convince her of what they want her to do/believe.

↦ Friendships with other runaways.

↦ I am forever looking for more hurt/comfort for Lucy, whether dealing with illness/injury, breakdowns, or whatever else.

↦ I'm an absolute sucker for first time showing someone her wings, wing-grooming, etc. Give me wing things.

↦ PSLs where Lucy gets a guardian angel (we can kitchen sink this, it doesn't have to be identical to her homeworld). The trust issue implosion seems like it could be really interesting. Up for this in a romantic or platonic fashion, or just seeing where it goes.

↦ There has been a lot of shit that Lucy's dealt with since running away, and I would be interested in diving into some of it. I'm up for discussion, but off the top of my head, some ideas include being cornered by supernatural beings/demons with bad intentions; having somebody get suspicious about what she is; having unhealthy friendships/fwb/relationship setups that she clings to because it means occasionally getting somewhere to rest for a while; having made connections through the supernatural community to get somewhere to stay, and ending up staying with someone she doesn't trust.
